Tommy Jackson (Founder / Lead Mentor)
Jackson’s life purpose is to help others find their true potential. His accomplishments in business and with mentoring children stretches over three decades across academics, business, athletics, and music.
Jackson was recognized by Barron’s magazine as a Top 1000 advisor in America in 2009, 2011, 2013, and as a Top 1200 advisor in 2014, 2015,2016 and 2017. In 2013, he was honored by Barron’s as the #1 advisor in the state of Alabama. Jackson credits his team for his success.
Jackson started coaching little league football in 1995 as a way to give back to his community. After an impressive 36-1 record, he was presented the opportunity to be an assistant coach at Briarwood Christian High School where he helped lead the team to 3 Alabama State Championships.
His involvement in youth sports led him to develop a mentorship program for kids called the Knights from which he trained athletes throughout their high school, college, and professional careers including two Super Bowl appearances.
Jackson also owns First Note Entertainment which is a multi-dimensional music firm that develops artists, publishes songs, and produces live performances.
In 2017, Jackson launched a first-of-its-kind website called FirstNotePlay.com which serves as an innovative way for independent artists to distribute their music to new audiences and build long term careers.
In 2017, he received what he called his most humbling honors of all time when AUM awarded him the 2017 Outstanding Alumni of the Year. AUM also selected him as one of the Top 50 At Fifty. This award celebrated the school’s 50th anniversary choosing one alumni to represent each year.
He gives special thanks to AUM, Barbers Dairy and The Women Board of Realtors need based scholarships for “believing in a simple country boy from Alabama with big dreams and even a bigger God!”
